It makes me very happy that beautiful gestures still exist in the world.  These are from a series of book sculptures left anonymously at libraries and such all in various locations around Scotland.  Each sculpture comes with a note that, among other sentiments, includes the phrase “A gift in support of libraries, books, words, ideas…”. The image above is a miniature theater sculpture left at the Filmhouse Cinema showing an audience watching movie characters spring off the screen.  Check out the dragon in the nest left at the Scottish Storytelling Centre.  Just lovely.
